The first step to becoming a Delivoc Traveler is downloading the app on your phone. After initiating the process, follow the on-screen prompts and provide the requested info and documentation. Once you have been verified as an eligible Delivoc Traveler, you will be able to view and accept delivery requests within the app and collect payments.
As a verified traveler, you will be able to view and accept senders’ requests on the app. After accepting a request, you will be put in touch with the sender to facilitate the pick-up and drop-off details. Throughout the process, the app provides you and the sender with real-time updates regarding the shipment status (picked up, pending pick-up, in transit, delivered, or canceled). When the package is successfully delivered, the pre-determined payment will be allocated to your account and released into your bank account on schedule basis.
To send items through Delivoc, download the app and follow the on-screen prompts to create a shipping “request”. To complete the request, you will need to provide the item’s weight as well as your desired/expected delivery time. You will then be asked to pay for the shipment to activate the request and put it in front of travelers. During this time, your money will be held securely in escrow. Once your request is accepted, you will be put in touch with the traveler to facilitate the pick-up and drop-off details. Throughout the process, the app provides you and the traveler with real-time updates regarding the shipment status (picked up, pending pick-up, in transit, delivered, or canceled). Your funds will only be released upon successful delivery.
If a traveler cancels a request after previously accepting it, you will receive a 100% refund of your money. If the package has not yet shipped, you can create a new request and connect with a different traveler. If the package is in transit, our customer support team will be available to assist you in resolving the issue, as outlined below.
As per the Terms and Conditions outlined on the website and the mobile app, travelers are held liable for all items in their possession between pick-up and drop-off at final delivery location. If something happens, a member of our customer support team will be made available to support you throughout the process. Delivoc also offers optional insurance coverage against lost or damaged items.
Delivoc travelers are eligible to accept as many requests as they wish, provided that they can deliver each package within the originally quoted timeframe. Late deliveries may result in penalties and/or the suspension of your account.
Senders can cancel their requests at any point up to package pick-up. If you cancel a request that has been accepted but not picked-up you will be charged a small fee. Once the package has been picked up it is considered in transit and cannot be canceled.
To create a transparent, trusting delivery ecosystem and community, Delivoc utilizes a simple, satisfaction-based rating system. Following each accepted request, senders and travelers will be encouraged to rate each other on several key metrics. We will suspend or remove accounts that fail to meet the minimum thresholds so that other senders and travelers can continue using our platform in confidence.
